Well I don't think it should be retro only, but, I'm thinking it will wind up mainly retro. Not everyone has the 360 stuff (just tapped into that myself).

2. Will the shmups be decided by poll?

I think a poll of some sort would be the best idea. Maybe create a list among ourselves of what shmups we'd like to compete against each other/play together with (that we have a means to play) and then throw them on a forum poll. From there, work out a schedule of sorts like Together Retro and Fight Nights.

I think monthly would work better as opposed to weekly.
