Dave, I really don't care.

I think it's funny (once I step out of your hypocrisy mudpile) that you fought so hard for a democratic process.

Then when it didn't go your way - asked people to change their votes.

You didn't switch to Chaos Field because you had an awakening and thought a boss rush would be fun all of a sudden, you did it in protest because you naturally assumed your buddy would pick your preferred game, I assume it's coincidence you changed your pick about 10 minutes after he posted his picks? Right.

Then you proceeded to offer multiple quid pro quos to support your game, myself and ellert publicly, who knows how many privately.

So you wanted a system - until it didn't work for you.

And to pile on the hypocrisy, you say Bruno should be in full charge of selecting which games are played which months - no democratic vote needed. Really? For some of us, it will take us longer to setup MAME and roms than it will be to hit a "buy" button. Once again, the process suits your needs, so you change your position. Typical. Reaxamine yr own grapes there captain. I'm just enjoying the sideshow that you make possible.

I did originally pick noise's choice because I figured he'd do the same, but it was never my preferred game for his month. When he explained to me that he wouldn't be doing the same, I did change my vote accordingly. Fuck you for assuming I did it "in protest". You are acting like an asshole.

Yes, I used one instance of quid pro quo for a vote about the games in my own poll. (The offer to you was clearly a joke since my vote was not needed.) So what? You offered to send anyone who wanted one a copy of a game in a poll other than your own a copy of said game. You are peddling influence concerning someone else's picks, I am only peddling it concerning my own, which is pretty harmless.

Yes, I was put in the position of lobbying for Crimzon Clover by poorly "stacking the deck" in favor of one game out of my three, but at least I offered that risk and introduced some actual variety amongst my choices.

I don't care if bruno picks the order as I don't see that as a decision that needs close scrutiny/discussion from the community. If that makes me a hypocrite so be it, but I think a lot more people care to have a say in WHAT we play rather than WHEN we play them. I can't be bothered on this point.

I'm glad you are enjoying the "sideshow" but I'm enjoying what I see to be a harmless and somewhat silly vote-lobbying process concerning the games I selected. Sorry, but when you take on this "holier than thou, hypocrite" tone about CHOOSING GAMES TO PLAY AS A COMMUNITY you look really petty and a little bit bitter.

I believe this was the end game. Can we all be friends again, now?

Well, thanks for promoting this fair process for the community. Quid pro quos, changing votes out of spite for buddies who won't reciprocate, and improperly "stacking the deck". Yep, that is truly a fair across the board process for the community. I think this horse is proven dead.

There's plenty of material to pull from, yes.

I don't have a problem with Dave, at all. I've told others and i've told him privately he's great for this board and he's a super bright guy. There are times he's contradicting his own statements or being outright hypocritial, imo, and if I have a minor interest in the particular thread, i'm going to let him know. I'm not the one who tossed any personal attacks or cuss words. If he has a problem w/me, it is what it is.

 thats awesome.

Is this where we post our DDP scores? Because this thread has gone a little haywire! I don't see our current scoreboard on the main page or within the last 10 pages.
