man. That's some good info to have.

EDIT: fuck you guys.

And don't try to tell me that invisible dogs are any less hard to believe.

In a simliar hazing, I was told I was playing on a BABY level and that my default settings were wrong in DDP-R. Fortunately dunpeal was a sport and let me in on the joke. :)

One thing that really helps in this is using the special bonus (Going from a red chain, to 1 blue enemy, to yellow) to begin a yellow chain. The special bonus is worth 10k, but more importantly, if you chain yellows off of that special, the chain will start at 10k, not 140.

Yellow enemies are the most scarce though, so this is only really applicable in certain areas. Also, I find either 2 or 3 Merry's in stage 3B. There is one in that first small corridor, when the blue and yellow enhemies start showing up, and then there is another at the end of that corrider, to the left of the blue walker type enemy that you only see one of. There is yet another in between the 3 red and 3 blue enemies that are circling in front of that large red ship with the pods attached to it.

However, I have no idea how Hash is getting such high scores!

Edit: Damn, are we really playing 3 Treasure games at the same time right now?

I was thinking that too. Did we plan that? I can't remember.

Two main things: Chains and weapon bonuses. The occasional Merry helps too.

Damn. What do your scores per stage look like? It must be the weapon bonuses that are setting me so much further behind than you.

I kinda have 3C chaining down, and that boss is just silly easy now... 3D chaining is just reds, yellows, then wait for the 2nd wave of yellows.... and that merry under the 3D boss

Maybe I just have not tied it all together in one run yet. I will give you some good competition this time Hash, or at least I'll try!

Stage 3A is consistently 335K. If I am lucky I'll get higher. Stage 3B is about 900K (I finish Stage 3B with a total score of about 1.2 million), Stages 3C and 3D are always inconsistent. I am working on those right now. Those diagonal corridors are make or break for me. I'll flub a long chain by accidentally killing a blue enemy. Whenever that happens I lose motivation and kinda drag my feet until I finish.
