I'm not saying they shouldn't have known. I am just saying they don't "realize" it.

Once again, you guys need to watch There's Nothing Out There, where one character realizes he is in a horror movie from the start and acts accordingly.

You do, particularly the scene where he escapes the monster by jumping up and swinging off the boom mic.

Oh, and rakes. There's Nothing Out There is one of the few films I've seen pull off a good rake gag effectively.

I've collected most Ouija movies I can find. So far I have:

Witchboard (Blu Ray)
Witchboard 2 (Blu Ray)
Witchboard 3 (dvd)
Ouija Experiment (dvd)
I am Zozo

There's a new Ouija coming out around Halloween, a big budget one. The Midnight Game is another movie to check out. Not Ouija but it's about kids playing a scary game in a big house and then it comes true.
They have escaped into the mansion where they thought it was safe, yet.

Happy October.

Castlevania isn't exactly an easy game, is it?

For our last September horror movie, my wife and I watched:

The Prowler (1981). It does absoluitely nothing original, but it does "completely unoriginal slasher film" very, very well. If you are fan of the genre - and classic Tom Savini gore effects - it is essential viewing.

SEPTEMBER HALLOWEEN MOVIES:

OCTOBER HALLOWEEN MOVIES:
Nothing yet!

It is not so bad once you get used to the controls. I could make it to Frankenstein's Monster consistently as a child, and I would ocassionally make it to death. I could not beat the game until I was an adult, however. (Dracula is easier than Frankenstein's Monster and way, way easier than Death, BTW.)

Prowler is a good portfolio piece for Savini and a pretty mediocre movie. But worth seeing once. Yeah.
