Considering its low budget, it's quite well done, and there are some excellent cameos and references to horror films ranging from A Nightmare on Elm Street to Poltergeist.
own it and have watched it 3 times since its release. I think it's really well done. I actually hope there's a sequel.
Why am I not surprised?
So when we gonna hang out and watch Jacob's Ladder?
When it comes to slasher flick docs I would I have to go w/ Going to Pieces: The Rise and Fall of the Slasher films. Hands down. They cover EVERYTHING in the slasher film genre. Amazing doc. Noise, I know you had to have seen this and probably own it. I still have to buy it but can not find in stores so I'm going w/ Amazon I guess.
I am addicted to video games, especially retro gaming from my era. I have: NES, SNES, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Gameboy, GBA, Wii, Sega Genesis, Sega CD, Dreamcast, PS1, PS2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I have probably over 1,000 games in total for all these systems combined. Yes, I need help and I wouldn't have it any other way! This is my passion and hey my wife still loves me!!

own it and seen it many times! It's amazing. One of my favorite things about it are that it actually has Amy Jones in it who directed Slumber Party Massacre. We've talked about how those films don't get the hype they deserve.
But other awesome things in it are Herb Freed (!!!) the director of Gradation Day, which is totally overlooked; miss Felissa Rose referring to herself as "the chick with the dick"; and the fact that it introduced me to The Prowler!
...so yeah. By far one of my favorite docu's ever.
EDIT: how come Danielle Harris isn't in it though? Odd.
YES! I was thrilled to see Amy Jones in there and of course Herb Freed!
Yeah, I was very surpirsed by no Danielle Harris (HOT!!!) on this doc. Maybe she wasn't available?
I still have to check out two more docs that I have been dying (no pun intended) to see: More Brains! A Return to the Living Dead and Best Worst movie. I may just buy them, especially for Return of the Living Dead since that is one of my all time favorite movies of all time. They also have a book for it on all 5 films which I would like to read one day since I love the Crystal Lake memories and Making Friday the 13th books.
His Name was Jason, Never Sleep Again, and Halloween: 25 years of Terror are all excellent docs as well!

RE: Danielle Harris -- I *think* that goes without saying man! haha. Yowza!
AND there's a ROTLD documentary?????? Holy shit. I need that. It's by far my favorite Zombie movie of all time. Awesome!
The Troll 2 documentary is seriously incredible. It's one of those docs like King Of Kong where you don't even need to be familiar with the subject to adore the documentary. It's just a really great story about really great people (seriously, the guy who played the dad in Troll 2 is a small town dentist who always wanted to be an actor. He's like the nicest guy in the world, and you realy end up loving to see his story).
I do also own Halloween 25 and His Name Is Jason. Love them both. I've seen Never Sleep Again, but don't own it (yet -- it's on my XMas list).
EDIT: back to Danielle, have you seen Hatchet 2 yet? She's the star, and I actually think I liked it more than the first one.
Yes, I just discovered this doc on ROTD from a Friday the 13th site I post on and now I have it on my xmas list.
I'm always up for conversation on Danielle Harris! Yes, I have seen Hatchet 2 (I own both films) and loved it! I thought it was better than the first as well. It's funny because I didn't like Hatchet at first but it grew on me and now I can't wait for the 3rd installment! I just feel like it goes back to the basics of slashers and gets it right since there are many that have failed to recapture that appeal that made the genre so great to begin w/. Idk, maybe it's just me but that's my take on it.

yeah I thought the 2nd did a better job though. The first was good (and had that SHOT of the head being cut in half while the camera panned around -- OMG) but I don't know. The second felt more realized to me.
Speaking of HAVE YOU SEEN Behind The Mask yet? It really is a brilliant little neo-slasher. And I truly want there to be a sequel.
OK, Danielle Harris talk then...
Definitely one of my favorite Scream Queens. Remember when she played the badass neighbor girl on Roseanne? Oh man. Haha. I was super-happy that RZ casted her in the new Halloweens. I just think that was a great idea. And it definitely revitalized her horror career (though I had forgotten she did Urban Legend in the late 90's). But yeah basically if she's in a horror movie, I'll assume it's worth checking out.
