Finally finished Resident Evil 6 today (all four scenarios) and if you're looking for horror, just keep on looking. This is a hardcore action game more akin to Gears of War than RE.

The three films are City of the Living Dead (also known as The Gates of Hell), The Beyond, and The House by the Cemetery
IDK; I've always felt like House by the Cemetery was the weakest. To each his own, I suppose. We can agree that The Beyond is the best though, yes?

I think I agree. Fulci was always pretty hit or miss in my opinion though. The Beyond (aka: 7 Doors of Death) would be my favorite I think.

It's a toss up between that and Zombi 2 for me. You just can't deny that soundtrack:

For movies, see if any of these interest you:
Shivers - A David Cronenberg film about parasites which effectively operate as a venereal disease. The infected humans aren't zombies, per say, but they are violent maniacs with their faculties limited to base desire.
Cemetery Man - It's an Italian film from 1994 about a gravedigger who puts down zombies that no one else seems to notice are there while dealing with the woman he loves repeatedly leaving him because she A) dies, B) marries another man, C) is a prostitute, etc.
The Gates of Hell Trilogy - These Italian horror films by Lucio Fulci are violent and nasty. Fulci was an expert at making people squirm, so if you want a creepy atmosphere and disturbing effects, there's three to check out. Keep in mind that the first film is the weakest. For games, you might look into Imscared, Hide, Candles, 1916, and SCP: Containment Breach. All of these are free online.
Well at least your trying. So...The Gates of Hell movies...are they in english?
I might try SCP since it seems like the longest one and the most popular. I'v heard about it before but never tried it.

Well today i watched the shining and it was ok... the movie was a bit more slow paced than i expected but it gets good in the middle.
Also i waited the whole movie for this scene alone

And i watched nightmare before christmas (again) after that
i LOVE that movie so is totally recommended from me.

The Shining is more about the build up to the scare then outright scary. I love that movie so much I actually bought a copy on DVD. Most movies I get are from yard sales but that movie I actually went to the store to get it was so good lol.
Also <3 Nightmare Before Christmas...loved it as a kid and love it now. It's one of my fav movies.

Yes indeed, and it's partly the lovely Italian film dubbing process that gives them their charm. Usually, if I'm not mistaken, the way it worked was that Italian and English actors spoke their native tongue on set, and then the films were dubbed afterward in their entirety to whatever language they were to be released in.

I wasn't expecting to be scary but i did love how he slowly loses his mind... i can't see anybody else doing that role, Jack has a special kind of lunatic face when he smiles.
