I got quite a few new games yesterday and today. On the PS3 I got Twisted Metal (2012) and The Chronicles of Riddick Assault on Dark Athena. I really enjoyed the original Chronicles of Riddick game on Xbox. This one apparently also includes a remaster of the original game on the disc, so I am interested how it compares to the Xbox one.

On PS2 I got Stuntman and Fire Fighter F.D.18. Stuntman is one of those games I have wanted to pick up for a while, but has never been high on my priority list. It looks fun and made by the same developers who did the Driver games. Fire Fighter F.D.18 looks interesting and I have been keeping an eye out for a nice reasonably priced copy. It got fairly average/mixed reviews, but fire fighting games interest me for some reason.

On Original Xbox I picked up Lord of the Rings Return of the King, on 3DS I picked up Sega 3D Classics Collection and on DS I got Mario Kart DS.

An exciting month for me this month, as I picked up a Sega Mega CD for the first time, along with a few of the big hitters for the system. This is the last console I had on my wants list that I didn't already own so it feels relatively momentous to finally pick one up.

Some awesome pick-ups shared recently! Cool to see the Cosmic Fantasy Collection getting some love. I missed out on that, but may need to pick up a copy in the near future. Also, that's great that AJ picked up a Sega CD and a nice selection of games for it. Also, glad to see Elkin back in the thread! We've missed you around here, bud.

As for my October pick-ups, I just grabbed one game. However, it's definitely a big grail for me and something I've wanted for many years. I missed a few opportunities to purchase it over the years.



Panzer Dragoon Saga (SAT) - Love the atmosphere in the Panzer Dragoon series, and I'm looking forward to playing through this one next year!

Damn, well played on Panzer Dragoon Saga! Enjoy. It's one of my favourite games of all time. I absolutely love the atmosphere and world in it. The battle system has aged tremendously well in my opinion and it's a great RPG that doesn't demand too much time or commitment from players.
