But, still. Where your game is concerned, I don't know if I'll ever get into collecting Saturn. It is just such an expensive console to collect for. Same with Neo Geo. I would love to collect both, but I don't think I could ever get my wife on board with those collections.
It's all about balance. The acquisition of PDS means I won't make any large online game purchases until perhaps May or so. I'll still just to local shops and whatnot and search for cheap stuff. Last year I bought an Amiga CD32 and a bunch of other stuff during a big "splurge" - I stayed away from online shopping for about 5-6 months after that. Essentially I try not to go over an average of $100 a month.
Neo Geo AES stuff can be surprisingly "affordable" if you don't mind imports. I own four AES
games, and they ranged in price from $12.50 to $50.
Oh and the latest Ys game is amazing.
