I just noticed this thread. Interesting work! I have to ask though, what are you shooting for with this hack? I know you mentioned rebalancing earlier, but it looks like you're trying to change the pace and style of it as well. Most noticeably the heavy emphasis on specials (even for a Capcom fighter  ).

Also, you took down all of your videos! I wanted to see the Zangief one in particular.

Yeah rebalancing and pace and style you pretty much hit the nail on the head. I love specials being ultra awesome I'm a big fan of the first marvel vs capcom. Sorry about taking down the old stuff I keep making new versions with massive improvements.

Sometimes, cool unexpected things happen.
I was fighting the dark purle Ryu and he suddenly changed to white Ryu and I was playing Sagat and the colors of the blue Tigers changed to something weird. Like a an inverted normal Tiger, cool!
When Blanka comes with the electricity rush charge, it´s over
I just had Ryu throw a set of fireballs that were just slightly darker than the normal fireballs, perhaps it were one of those orange ones, but in this version they perhaps turn out a little more darker blue. It was beautiful

Yes that's right. I've purposely been loading this hack up with strange things and miniature "easter eggs". I actually made the default fireballs slightly darker than the original. When changing m bisons pallette I also changed the pallette for the red fireballs to the dark blue that is his outfit. Also in ryus ending when bison is standing next to sagat bison is in a blue suite but sagat is in his world warrior colours. Also bison in the ryu ending doesn't have the green stripe on his suite and doesn't have the gold metal plates they're just the original silver. This is because I changed all of bisons suite pallettes but I only changed the stripe and metal of the playable bison. For some reason the taiwanese hackers made it that when you change from another character to sagat sagats fireballs use the pallette data from blanka. There's a lot of pallette data that effects multiple things in the game. I changed the default colours of the tiger fireballs and the changed the pallette of when the tigers hit somebody so it matched the new pallette. Interestingly enough changing the hit pallette made yoga fire, flame, and even the burning animation all go blue. Also doing this made the block hit animation and even the spray out of the broken bonus stage car turn blue. All these animations share the same pallette data in the game. I couldn't find the pallette data that's used when you press start button to change character mid-round the hackers stored the data in a different format than how the default pallettes are stored. So when you change character with the start button they change to the pallettes that I actually removed from the game which you can't normally access. Also at the start of a new round / match your character changes back to either the default or start button pallette depending on which button you selected your character with.

Oh yeah....and the capcom logo at the end of the special ending is now blue. That was another accidental change. This happened either when I changed all the font pallettes to blue or when I changed all of the m bison pallettes to blue (bison has a lot of pallettes).

New version:

I found the programming for the custom functions that the hackers added. Changed the sonic boom sound from chun lis sound to something more usable with all characters. I also found out how to change the type of fireball being thrown. Adding these new things also caused me to change a few things and adjust some physics.

Would it be possible to make just the weak kick hurricane kick of ryu and ken to go backwards instead of forward? Kind off like a retreat move.
The only other move I know that goes backwards is Vega/Balrog´s roll back move. Perhaps it can be compared.

I doubt I could figure that out. Most of the time the speed is determined by a single hex value but the lowest the hex can go to is 00 it can't do negative values.
