First off, thanks for showing up everyone, we had a real nice SF lobby going on to kick off the night. Tekken and Marvel players who said they'd like to play, failed to show, so we may not see those games back for a bit in the rotation.

Thanks to the viewers of the stream also, we had 26 viewers almost to the end, and for a stream that was advertised only in 2 threads. I call it a success.

As for the stream/system set ups, we have a lot to work on as far as polish goes. We had audio issues on our end (but luckily not the stream). It will be a work in progress the first few weeks, but I was happy with how it went right out the gates.
We will work on better lobby options and a better invite system, as well as a way to voice comm. with players in-game.

So I ask anyone who watched/played- Any suggestions for me? I noticed plenty that will need improving, and want to keep this fun as possible, so I welcome any all suggestions/criticisms.

aaannnd aside from that, we need to start deliberating on the games to be played next week (I heard mention of people wanting BBCP), as well as settling on the best night/time for everyone. I know it's christmas week, so odds of a lot of ppl showing will be low of course, but we can try anyways!

There was always mention of other games when we were doing fight night before - but SSFIV was the only game to consistently have good turnout.

I'm personally willing to get anything IF people will actually show up. However, I trust only a few guys to actually show if they say they are going to. It's like most things, people want a say and a vote - but then poof, Kaiser Soze.

This. The majority of PS3 fighting games can be had for less than $20 each. Often less than $10. So I'm willing to own pretty much any game... as long as it's not just me and Mike that show up and then wish we were playing SF4 instead. Cuz that's happened!

Yea it definitely appears that SF will be a mainstay, and that is fine anyways; as it's a great gateway game for people to show up and maybe stay-watch another game-want to get into it other games- etc.

So yea, it is a damn shame that the SF lobby system contains no way to text chat, set win limits or custom name the lobby. But we can work around all of that anyways. We will at least make sure the player playing on the host end can voice chat with people they are playing.

Does anyone have any other suggestions for next week, aside from SF? Maybe BBCP? SC5? P4A? some random anime doujin fighter? I want to try and at least have 1 OTHER game than SF, the variety is needed imo.

Also what nights work for everyone? I am literally open to anything (aka- i'd play on christmas if we got enough volunteers lol). But understand a lot of people will be engaged in holiday travel, family visitation, kids doing the christmas thing and general family mongering activities.

Also still no idea who mr400m is. He has to be someone who either saw this thread on racketboy, saw my posts on SRK (which means he's a regional player whom i'd know), because he sent me a friend request almost immediately after i created the Buffalo FGC acct on PSN and started posting for people to add it.

I have pretty much every recent game available. Don't have a some of the HD remakes like JoJo, SFIII, etc. But could get them if needed. got BBCP pre-ordered. Won't be out until the end of March.

At one point I had every game ZE listed, except AquaPazza and TTT2. I've since sold most for the reason I mentioned above...everyone wanted to play them...but never did. So, if folks want to narrow the list and commit to say 5-6 titles, i'll gladly rebuy them.

I have most of the other titles commonly mentioned but on 360 because I prefer them there for solo play - I do not pay for an XBLA membership, though.
