Axelay High Scores

The rules: Hi-Score using 1 Credit on the Default Settings
Accepted formats: SNES, and there has been a digital release so that is fine as well
Format: Post score- username- and stage


I've been playing Axelay on the SNES a bit today (for the first time). It's a pretty fun game, so I thought I'd start a high score thread. I know there are a lot of shmup fans on this forum, so I'm sure many of you have it.

Also, there was a recent score list for Axelay in another thread. Those scores do not count for this. You must fire up that SNES again and give me some fresh scores.

Didn't see that. I did a search but only for topic titles. Not completely sure what you mean by the part I left quoted? What hyperlink list? and what am I supposed to keep track of?

FINALLY got to stage 2 I think I die more running into shit than I do by eating a bullet.

There is no major difference in the digital release.

This game is awesome. Treasure really liked to break out with fresh new ideas. I love the spider web that slows you down, so cool.

One last hurrah before shipping my copy out...

Took me a good 5-6 runs before I remembered the stages and enemy patterns, but had a very nice run at the end, this might be my highest all time.

Let's just hoped Exed doesn't see this thread, or we'll all be in trouble...
