Dead or Alive 5 goes... Ultimate
Dead or Alive 5 goes... Ultimate
So i'm not sure if anyone on the forum has commented on this which was announced a few days back, but it seems DOA5 is getting a decent update this fall via Dead Or Alive 5 Ultimate. It appears the game may receive a few balance tweaks as well as one additional stage and a new character to the series, Ninja Gaiden's Momoji. The trailer also seems to tease a possible veteran making a return

I may actually pick this one up this time, as I skipped the original DOA5 for TTT2.

Leon! Hell yeah! Sure is good to see him again.
I love DOA 5 (hell I love DOA, period) so I'll be grabbing this for sure.

Re: Dead or Alive 5 goes... Ultimate
Some great news incoming. Looks like 2 more additional characters have been announced for the upcoming Dead or Alive 5 upgrade known as Ultimate. Ein from DOA2 and Jacky Bryant from Virtua Fighter Fame.

Here's hoping there is room for another VF character. C'mon Kage!!!

Awesome. Ein is no surprise, but Jacky kind of is. I hoped they might add another guest or two, but I wasn't expecting it. Very cool.
I said this way back when DOA5 was first announced, but part of me is hoping against hope that the stars will align and they'll put in Ryo Hazuki.
Considering Shenmue's origins, its not that much of a stretch.

Its not at all actually. DOA5 project director Shimbori-san has gone on the record and has flat out said that he would love to have Ryo Hazuki as a guest character, but that it was all up to Sega to approve it.

Yeah. At least someone from that universe. Lan Di, Ren would be just as amazing really!
Tom!?

They should bring in a couple monstrous characters from the original Ninja Gaiden games.
