New versions of AstroSmash and Pong that look like they were developed for ten-year-old cell phones?! Count me...IN FOR VIP PRE-ORDER!!!!

(Seriously...I love old games, but I have no idea what market Intellivision intends to capture with this. Church rec rooms, maybe?)

A true Intellivision patriot will go to the website, click the suspicious "invest" button at the top, and donate your life savings to this momentous event in gaming history.

Yeah the whole thing looks questionable.

I like the idea of the retro reboots, but a lot of the games have really questionable aesthetics. Games will supposedly be cheap but the price of the console is way too high.

Of course one could argue that this thing will never be released. At the very least 2020 seems unlikely. Same goes for the new Atari VCS.

In any event the Amico is up for preorder on GameStop, and GameFAQs is listing it as an "upcoming platform" alongside the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X. 8)

I don't know which looks worse: this or the Atari VCS 800.
I completely don't get the appeal of either, especially with the price tags at the same level as serious consoles.

I would be down for a high quality, mini-Intv console with decent controllers. Heck, it might could sell well with the mini console craze going on.

Or 20+ year old computer games.

Looks like less of an outright scam than the Atari VCS but is still completely pointless. There just isn't a market for these things beyond collection pieces. You'd have to be pretty cretinous to be genuinely looking forward to one of these instead of just getting a second hand Switch.
