Turbografx-16 Mini preorders gone from Amazon

Now that the release date for this unit is only 2 weeks away, looks like you can no longer pre-order the system from Amazon. I wonder if this will turn out no only to be an Amazon exclusive, but a time-limited exclusive as well.

I think it has been this way for at least a few weeks now...I remember checking on the release date last month to see when my preorder might ship...and it was out of stock even then.

I just ordered a second controller, hopefully those are around for a bit.

Just speculation...they might be having trouble with their supply chains ATM if the TG16 is being manufactured in China (which, I suspect, it is).

Bingo! Right now is a bad time to try to spin up manufacturing on a new electronic product.

Apparently Amazon.jp has all 3 variants still available for pre-order, so I am not sure what’s up.

I've seen Amazon freeze pre-orders before due to delays and uncertain supply so it's definitely because of the issues being caused by COVID-19.
