Now that I have my MAME PC back up and running (thanks to everyone on the Slack chat for the help - who knew a bad wireless pci card could crash a whole computer) what are some must-play arcade games to play. The family and I play games before breakfast, so arcade games would be perfect for that short time. So help me find some awesome new games that playable on MAME and the more hidden gems the better.

Good question. Mainly for me... Dragging me kids away from Roblox, which is a stupid game to me, is a struggle.
So all games are in play for this.

Was gonna suggest a few games not mentioned, but was trying to remember the names... Finally remembered The Outfoxies, and it's on the dsheinem list. I fully agree with both lists, and my other suggestions are only notable for starting genres - the two lists have more refined games with better gameplay of older 80's classics.

I hate to admit they are soooooo large I can not seem to focus on a game. As I read these giant lists I think "I should play that game. Oh, now this game looks great." This goes on throughout the list and by the end, I have not narrowed down a game to play.
So, I'm going to change the question: What is your number one must-play arcade game?

Capcom's Willow. Never ported. Actually a pretty fun licensed platformer.

Alien Vs. Predator - Dutch yelling at the end of every stage always makes me chuckle.
