Just ordered it on a whim because it looks like a cool game and I dig the anime graphics. Reminds me a bit of Valis. Anyone ever play it?

I think this is the first time I've ever been excited about playing Game Gear lol.

A truly hardcore retro gamer would play the MSX version.

Ooohhhh man I would love an MSX. Played one for the first time at PAX East. Just not a practical purchase for someone living in the U.S.BoringSupreez wrote:A truly hardcore retro gamer would play the MSX version.

You could always use BlueMSX.BoneSnapDeez wrote:Ooohhhh man I would love an MSX. Played one for the first time at PAX East. Just not a practical purchase for someone living in the U.S.BoringSupreez wrote:A truly hardcore retro gamer would play the MSX version.

Have to say that the game looks interesting at least. I'm going to note it down to play it if I ever get an open console. Shame the Sega ports aren't that great.

I've heard this game is sort of hit and miss. Definitely mention what you think of it once you get it.

I've seen pics of it. It looks like an interesting platformer and I can see why it would remind you of Valis. I've never played it since I don't own any of the systems it was released for.

Re: Psychic World
Well I played some last night. The controls are a little odd. Your cute anime girl gains speed while running, but it's not gradual like Sonic. It's more like you're walking and then going light speed half a second later. Other than that little quirk, it's a lot of fun. I'll dedicate some time to it after I finish Ys Seven.
