For me, I am very good at battlefield 4, I would consider one of the best in the whole game. Almost every single time I play, no matter who im with, I will always get one guy who likes to go out of their time and way to make sure I have a bad day. Do you know what I do about it? I give it to them right back and invite them to a game and woop up on them once more.

Dont let yourself get discouraged, most people who are posting these "death threats" are a bunch of teenage punks mad because they lost. The phrase, "its lonley at the top" really applies to your situation.

In my opinion, I would keep plying CS and use their frustration as fuel to your fire, show them you arent cheating by improving tactics that way you can explain to them how you win. In my situation, I use the tactics I have learned in the military and apply them to battlefield. Works every time

Experienced this also as I'm an old an good CS and Quake player for many years back.. Very annoying. It's certainly the backside of being good at game ;D But you should just move and look past it. Not your fault your good, mate.

You're replying to a 2 year old post.

In my own experience... I notice that Japanese online gamers are much more polite than European or North American gamers. I've never been kicked from a Japanese server for being mediocre, nor have I received any sort of abuse in the form of text messages, headset chatter, or team-killing. The whole issue seems to be a non-event over here. Also from my own experience, I've found British servers specifically to be the rudest and least tolerant of poor skill.

To be honest, I think online gaming is toxic itself. I know this isn't really retro, but take a look at GTA V. Sure, one might say that you can always just play offline, but there's no heists. All the cars in a particular group have similiar performance for balancing reasons. It just can't be hidden that multiplayer was the main focus, and it's the case with a LOT of games nowadays.

Same for me, man. All the new MMOs are not just toxic, they are also stressful. I literally quit playing Overwatch because it's impossible not to freak out while playing it.
And the community, indeed, is very toxic in most of the games, people are going bananas over pixels. Tho I was recently suggested to play Lineage 2 Classic and maybe there the community will be alright, there are mostly people who used to play old Lineage 2 and I do hope they are sane, haha. We'll see.

I agree, the kids at the servers are so aggressive, that's because I usually choose the servers with paid subscription to avoid it

Usually when you play an underdog game that isn't at its peak of popularity, you find a much more welcoming community. That isn't always the case but being a person who explores the smaller world of gaming communities, it has definitely been so.

Yeah, I hope that it's like this, 'cause I was so fed up with the Wh40k board game community because of the mood and switched to PC games, looking for a nice and comfy place, but well... Duh.
Have to admit, I tried L2C and agree that it's somehow more welcoming.
