I kind of hate that they went with a wrap around image for Samurai Jack, makes the front and back of the case kind of incomplete looking. I can't help being a nitpicker. Anyway, I got this today:
I seriously need to dust my PS3
I've seen people open these Super Rare Games titles without ripping the fancy sticker in the middle, but I have no luck with that. That thing is gonna get torn in half I just know it.

Re: Games Acquired 2024
...some additions to the collection that I picked up over Spring break. Finding a clean copy of Vectorman 2 was really cool, I've been looking for one for a while. Some SMS classics and a copy of Rodea were also welcome finds, I rounded everything out w/some Xbox coolness and I especially want to try out Oblivion.
Re: Games Acquired 2024
Now that the forums are back up, I have to catch up on my pick-up posts. Here are my March pick-ups!
El Viento [Retro-bit] (GEN) - This is an action platformer on the Genesis that I was interested in, but was deterred by the current going price. When I saw it was going to be rereleased, I hopped on it and put in a pre-order last year. Glad it finally arrived! Fun title with some cool graphic effects.
Sol-Deace [Retro-bit] (GEN) - Another Genesis shmup I was interested but also wasn't sure I wanted to pay up, so I jumped on this rerelease as well. I found the game to be pretty tough! But hopefully I can put some more time into it and eventually clear it.
Astebros (GEN) - After playing through Demons of Asteborg on the Genesis last year and really enoying it, I heard that Neofid Studios had another game for the console on the way and I wanted to check it out. It's a rogue lite title with couch co-op and three different classes to choose from.
Ogre Battle: The March of the Black Queen (SNES) - One of my collecting goals is to pick-up the remaining RPGs and action-adventure games on the SNES I'm curious about, and this one was high on my list. I finally came across a copy and went for it!

15. Wonder Boy In Monster World (GEN)
I added Wonder Boy In Monster World for the Sega Genesis this evening!
I can't tell you how long I have been looking for this game. For several conventions I would go to, this would be one of the Genesis games that I could never find. Well, after years of searching, I finally just bit the bullet and picked up the game for myself. Between the beautiful graphics and compelling gameplay, I was absolutely hooked. I'm also curious to try the modern remakes, but I think this would be a great starting point.
