A few ACA Neo Geo and Arcade Archives games are on sale in the eShop; so, I picked up a bunch to end May strong. I had most of the Neo Geo games already, unfortunately, but I was able to pick up some Namco classics and deep cuts at a discount. I got:

Pre-ordered Undead Hordes 2 and the Etrian Odyssey trilogy for the Switch and bought Dead Island 2 for PS4 and the physical edition of Clive and Wrench.

And first chance I'm snagging the Switch remaster of We Love Katamari.

Just two pick-ups in May, but I finally grabbed another light gun game I've been interested in and a sequel to a title I just finished and really enjoyed!

Elemental Gearbolt (PS1) - I've owned a Namco Guncon since the time of release as it was packed in with Time Crisis, and I really like the accuracy of it. With that in mind, I've wanted to track down a few additional games compatible with the Guncon. Elemental Gearbolt is compatible and well rated. On a few initial runs, I think the game is deserving of the high marks, as it has a different setting for the genre and unique mechanics.

Klonoa 2: Lunatea's Veil (PS2) - I wanted to grab both of the original releases from the franchise, and was able to find Klonoa 2 in good shape earlier this month. I just finished the original title in the series and am looking forward to checking out the PS2's offering in the franchise!

My man is not messing around! Absolutely amazing pick up, Note! I had a disc- only copy some years ago, but I’ve never even seen a complete copy.

Also, Klonoa 2 is a lot of fun. Stunning graphics. It isn’t as good as the original game, and it’s not as challenging too. Still, I enjoyed it and hope you do too!

Recently scored the VBlank games for the Switch on the eShop. I seriously hope that this is the last time I buy Retro City Rampage. Also I forgot how much fun Shakedown Hawaii is.

I also preordered the Switch port of Stay Out of the House. I've played the PC version, which I got as part of being a patron on Puppet Combo's Patreon.

...it looks like everyone made some great pickups to their collections last month, from R-Type Final 3, Tear of the Kingdom, Lunar, Klonoa, and some Arcade Archives titles (I wish that I caught this sale) all look really cool. I think I did alright, Space Invaders '91 and Viewpoint both seem well reviewed and I'm always looking for Genesis games for the collection so I grabbed both. My SMS collection grew a bit w/Penguin Land, I've wanted to check this one out since I first saw it on a Master System poster. I've been waiting on Espagaluda II and Liar Princess for a bit, so it was cool to see those finally arrive. I picked up Populous for my kids to try out, I've always enjoyed the Genesis classic and figured a slightly modernized version would be cool to check out.
