Light Crusader (GEN)
Dynamite Headdy (GEN)
Ratchet & Clank (PS2)
Ico (PS2)

Pilotwings 64 (N64)
Just want to share my July pick-ups! I found some games that I've been interested in for quite a while.
Lotus II (GEN) - 2D sprite scaling racer, which was originally developed for the Amiga PC but ported to the Genesis. After playing and finishing OutRun so many times throughout the years, I figured I'd check out another game with a similar style. This game isn't on the same level as OutRun and is a bit more difficult, but it does have a two player option. One issue with this game is the sound though. If you have music turned on, which is a necessity in a racer, IMO, you don't hear any sound effects.
Light Crusader (GEN) - One of my goals for collecting is to get a few other games by Treasure, and this one was high on my list for a few reasons. It's an action RPG on the Genesis, which there aren't too many of. And it's cool to see Treasure stray from their usual action oriented games on the console. I've played this a bit through emulation years ago, so it's cool to have finally tracked it down.
Dynamite Headdy (GEN) - Another Treasure developed game I was on the hunt for. This game is super colorful and has a very weird and unique look, feel, and style to it. It also has some visual elements and mechanics that remind me of Treasure's earlier Genesis release, Gunstar Heroes. I have to admit, I find this game pretty tough, and have only been able to reach Scene 4-1 so far. Hopefully with some more time into the game I can continue to get better at it.
Ratchet & Clank (PS2) - I totally missed out on this series when it was originally released, so figured I'd start with the first game to see what it's all about and to continue with my effort to play some PS2 essentials. I listed it as one of the games I'd like to complete for the Summer Games Challenge, so I'm hoping to play through it in August or September!
Ico (PS2) - After really enjoying my time with Shadow of the Colossus, I wanted to see what the development team's first offering was like, as I've only heard good things about this game. I have a feeling it'll be something I'll enjoy as well. Thanks to o.pwuaioc for the smooth transaction on this one.
Brain Lord (SNES) - After finishing a few other Enix games on the SNES including ActRaiser and Soul Blazer, which are both games I really enjoyed, I figured I'd also give Brain Lord a chance. I'm a big fan of the genre, so I'm looking forward to checking this one out.
Pilotwings 64 (N64) - This is a game I played a bit of at friend's places around the time the N64 was originally released. I'm sometimes in the mood for a game that's pretty laidback, and I feel like this could fit the bill. Also, it's cool to have another N64 game that was available when the console launched. Also, thanks again to o.pwuaioc for the smooth transaction for this cart.
