You're probably gonna laugh at me, but it's 11. I can guess the era, but what came to mind did not work. And I'm happy to give some hints.

I missed:
4, 6, 7, 14, 16, 26.

4 is a decade old. The flashlight is key.

6 is a tough one. Been around for ages and has a somewhat distinct style. I'm sort of ashamed to admit I spent six months playing it in college.

7 is hard. I guessed based off the color palette of soft, bright tones and Greek construction, and I got lucky. The key is figuring out it's not a Greek game, just a Greek world.

14 I played when it was popular, but I was a much bigger fan of its competitor. Terrorists win.

16 is newer than you think. I know about it because it visually reminded me of Rogue, but in truth, I don't really have a good way to provide hints on it.

26 is probably the most obscure game on the list. The era of aircraft design versus that style of enemy led to me figuring it out.

I've figured out number 4, 6 and 14 since my original post, but still super stumped on numbers 7, 16 and 26. 26 is probably the most frustrating - I don't recognise 7 or 16 at all. I actually got number 4 originally but must have typed it in badly or something because it didn't recognise it when I did the quiz first time round.

10 has a repetitive name.

22 has classic girders but is a particular vintage.
