NEW RB Server - Forum Upgrade - Some WIP

There's a lot of data loss. The Sim Builder thread ends at 3/20, when I know it went beyond that.

We probably lost a week or two of form data, unfortunately.
I did a handful of things to try to restore the production database.
Luckily, I took a backup a little while back.
On this new system, it has automated weekly backups.

The dark mode should defiantly be the default (It swapped to light for me when I signed in)

That's weird. The dark is set as the default.
Was this your first time signing in since the forum went down?
(like did you visit the test one before I added the dark one?)

I didn't.

When I first came on was dark, then signed in, swapped to light.

Hopefully I am just an oddity.

You can always swap it back to dark in the control panel, then it should stay that way.

The light theme has plain text as a banner, while the dark has the RB logo. The text catches my eye too much.

Haha, yes, that is kinda boring to look at. But I figure we'll eventually get a real theme back soon enough.

A little update: after some fine-tuning this weekend, it seems like the server has been rock solid and snappy these last 48 hours+
Knock on wood, but hopefully, the techincal aspects have been ironed out.
I'm hoping to move onto more cosmetic items (and new content) before too long!

Just want to say thank you to Nick for getting the forums back up! Appreciate all the work it took to get things going again.

I really miss the custom look of the forum though! Hopefully we can get something similar when the time comes to make cosmetic changes. Also, not sure I can get used to the avatar and user info being on the right side. Just doesn't feel right to me. Lol.
