That awkward mechanic in Spirit Tracks grew on me. I'm actually enjoying it so far. It's got great puzzles, a lovely personality, and I even like the train sections of it. The only part of that that turns me are those possessed trains, as the only challenge it provides is delaying your trip because it forces you to make detours.

I'm not sure if I will call this a great game no matter what happens though because the use of the microphone is absolutely abysmal. But, I am playing it on the Wii U, so the mic is very close to where your hand holding the stylus is, and it's a challenge to even see what you're doing while using the mic. Perhaps it's easier on the DS?

Yes! I have a RG350, and I’m happy to write about it.

Right now I'm playing "Ninja Gaiden Master Collection" with my Switch.

I prefer portable mode

...Forza Horizon 4 and Thunder Force IV. I want to wrap Horizon up before the next game lands in November and the Thunder Force games are always a win, I'm really trying to get better at shmups and so far I can only get a few levels in but I think I'll get there. Oh yeah, still working on wrapping up the OG Strider as well for a previous TR.

Playing blue fire on switch, very good, but extremely hard, adventure platformer. Plays like a mix of 3d zelda with the hardcore platforming of something like hollow knight.

While I making short runs now on small browser games, wanna show the last one fun and crazy poopfight.io game. The process of the game is a gunfight with poop of the players in the booths of the public toilet. LoL

Posted this to the RB Slack channel, but it fits right in here:

So, I've finally turned my Retroid Pocket 2 into a comfortable PS1 portable and I beat SotN on it. I'm currently doing a replay with the goal of getting the Duplicator and all the items. I love how smoothly everything runs. But on the small, digital screen, some of the effects I loved on a CRT are a tad less impressive, and there are some QOL features from the Saturn version I REALLY miss. I suppose if I had a system that supported a modern version of the game I would get the best of both worlds, maybe, but this is where I am.

I have spent way too much time in Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr. I do wish the multiplayer wasn't crap though, be sure I want to play with friends without absurd rubber banding.
