I bought Cruis'N Velocity for the Nintendo GameBoy Advance.

I am a giant fan of the Cruis'N games on the N64. I own and have played through all of them multiple times. So, when I was creating games for my Wishlist on the new consoles, I was happy to see that the series had continue. I have heard negative to mixed reviews on this one, but it was rather cheap, I loved the series and I was looking for a non-RPG GBA games, so I figured I could give it a try. I have heard that the later games on the Wii and Switch are much better, so if it is bad, I can skip it and move onto the other games.

Just want to share November pick-ups!

Grandia (PS1) - This is a RPG that completely passed me by when it was released, I hadn't read about it or heard any of my friends or cousins talk about it. However, over the last few years, I've only heard positive things and have been interested in checking it out.

Goemon's Great Adventure (N64) - Mystical Ninja was one of the first Super Nintendo games I was gifted as a kid and it was a random (but great) choice by my parents. I always enjoyed the quirkiness of the game, and wanted to try the sequels. This also fits into my quest to pick up the few N64 titles with 2D gameplay.

Demons of Asteborg (GEN) - I'm really enjoying the Genesis homebrew scene and am a fan of action platformers, so I was interested in the demo when it was available. The demo of the first level was a lot of fun and it's awesome to see Genesis games of this quality still being released.

Chiki Chiki Boys (GEN) - I never saw this game in the arcades back in the day, but when trying out some various ROMs last year, I was impressed by it. The graphics are bright and colorful, and remind me of Wonder Boy in Monster World. The music's pretty impressive too. The gameplay seems to be a bit tough, but I'm looking forward to spending more time with this one.

So…as an experiment, I tried to see how many Switch games I could get for $1 plus all 135 of my gold coins. (You know…for science.). The answer is an insane number of games. I got:

I put them in my newly created “free games” folder; so, I won’t feel bad throwing them out or not playing them! Also, if only one of them is good, it will be worth it.

Finally, and a fun fact, Debtor is a Sega Genesis homebrew game!

Also, I hadn't heard of Debtor before, checking out some gameplay footage of it now. Always enjoy finding out about Genesis homebrew games.
