I'm not going to believe it until it is in my hands, but this is encouraging.

That's rough that it's taken this long for them to get the console out, but it seems like they ran into a ton of obstacles that were out of their control. With your Satiator and the upcoming Memcard Pro and Switch OLED, do you think you'll keep your pre-order intact?

I'm going to keep my preorder for now. As I've stated before, I got it for the initial $250 price plus I already have an NVMe drive, SD card, and a stack of CD-Rs set aside for it. By all accounts, the hardware and emulation are pretty solid. I plan on using it in the living room for a "wife-friendly" retro gaming setup. The complete radio silence that Playmaji does for months at a time is what I have a problem with. I can be forgiving of issues outside of their control but at some point, they have to stop kicking that can down the road. We could still see a delay due to port congestion at the US port but outside of some other unforeseen catastrophe, like their cargo ship sinking *knock on wood*, it looks like this thing is going to eventually make it into my hands.

Here's the latest from Polymega's Facebook stories posts. Looks like we will get some sort of announcement on Aug 2nd around noon EST. Hopefully it will be a no-take-backsies release date.

Again, I'm not going to believe it until it is in my hands but the Polymega is supposed to start shipping on Sept 12. They also hope to have their digital games store ready late this year. They've certainly had plenty of time to work on it...

Thanks for the continued reporting on this.
I'm still mildly interested in this.
Seeing the demo units has been cool. I'm digging the interface.

So my preorder was in April 2020. Does that mean I may get my stuff in October of this year (if the release dates are to be taken seriously this time) or did I just miss the cutoff for this first round?

I do hope I get the system this year. Although, I may have lost my 1TB SSD that I had set aside for it  .

The way I'm reading their news post, I think you made the cut to get it by the end of October.

That would make a great birthday present for me then.
Even if so, I couldn't expect it until end of year (trust issues and shipping/processing time). Hoping for the light guns to ship too.

I DID just find my 1TB SSD!!!
I am going to have so much fun putting all my games on that thing.

Looks like official reviews are starting to appear.

Following their Twitter account, it seems they have 4 container ships arriving through October and but it seems they have their hands on at least one shipment already.

With my impending move, I elected to ship my unit to my parent's house so I'm not sure when I will get mine. Chances are good that I'll be in one of the early shipments. I'm only getting the base unit but I will be sure to post my thoughts when I've had time to sink my teeth into it.
