Directions unclear; I dug into my Lucasarts collection and pulled out Zombies Ate My Neighbors.

True point-and-click horror. :P You point your gun at zombies and click the B button to solve the “How do I kill this zombie?” puzzle over and over again.

Would Calling on the Wii count for point and click? You walk around first-person in a 3D environment but your puzzle solving is all first-person clicking-on-things-until-something-happens type of gameplay.

Hmm... it's an odd ball, but I don't oppose it. We'll consider it an attempt at innovation on the genre.
