Atlus were not ones to create many platformers but I'll be damned if this isn't a pretty good one. A low key release that is excellent.

Atlus actually developed a wide variety of titles in those days. They were the contract developer for an insane variety of titles for the PC Engine, including the first Bonk title Bonk's Adventure.

Oh for sure and I played a good number of those games back then. Pure platformers were not something they published regularly which is a shame as they were so good at making them.

There was no way for Sega to capture the feel of the arcade game but even as a shooter in general this is not very good.
