There's a PC Engine CD version of this game which is fantastic. It feels just as good and looks and sounds better.

Strikingly similar to the first but still an improvement and an otherwise solid game.

Strikingly similar to the first but still an improvement and an otherwise solid game.

My only complaint with II is that character movement feels clumsy until you grab some stat upgrades. In the original game, even the slowest character still feels responsive, but in II the slow characters also seem to have movement lag in addition to slow movement speed.

Some cool ideas that could have made for an interesting game. Unfortunately the execution is lacking, making this one forgettable.
