I'm really enjoying your videos mate. Specially the Top Gear one got me curious about the first game. Just one question: how come your nickname on the forums is not SNENdrunk? I was curious why this "s1rweeze" fellow made a thread about SNESdrunk's reviews

I would have liked to of seen a little more info for Top Gear 3000, like how the tracks will split and give you two directions to go. On a more technical note, it contained a DSP enhancement chip. Specifically the DSP-4, which was the only SNES game to contain that specific DSP. Wikipedia says it was used to help draw the track, especially during the times the track splits. I haven't played these three games in a while, but from my memory, 3000's gameplay was the most smooth. The DSP-4 was probably the reason.

Placing this game a thousand years in the future allowed the developers to plausibly include futuristic and improbable technologies, and abandon the relative realism of Top Gear 2.

Car upgrades were more extensive than in Top Gear 2, and "weapons" were featured for the first time in the series. Upgrades included a nuclear fusion engine, a cobalt-titanium armor kit, and a liquid polymer gearbox; weapons included a device to jump over cars, a warp device, and a magnetic attractor to steal kinetic energy from other cars.

Due to the capabilities of the new chip DSP-4 used for this game, it was the first game in the series that was possible to split the track in two different directions with different lengths, sometimes intentionally making one route much faster than the other. Top Gear 3000 was the only game in the history of the Super NES to use this chip.

I did not give Top Gear 3000 enough time. Really I should've just did the review for the first Top Gear game since that's what I had in mind when making the video. I only put a few hours into TG3K as opposed to the gazillion hours I put into the first two games. Lesson learned, I guess.

I think you can ask a mod/admin to do that for you. I'm sure they will be able to help you out. Specially since you are still a new member (post wise) and thus there won't be any confusion when you change your name. Plus everyone probably only notices your avatar....I know I do . Well, there's no reason you can't do a follow up video. Perhaps a short video that focuses solely on TG3K. Not that I'm begging you too, it's far from my favorite game.
