Bringing some balance back to the force, this week's magazine is the Nintendo only Nintendo Magazine System issue 5.
As always this magazine offers several Game Boy reviews which are not always easy to come by.

The online articles that were selected from this issue are:
Reviews for Bionic Commando and Dig Dug, both on the classic Game Boy.
Followed by reviews for Super Star Wars as well as Cybernator which are both on the SNES.

We are slowly recovering from a couple of things at Out-of-Print Archive, one, computer troubles all around really. These are slowly being fixed.

The other is changing the forums around slightly, mainly where they were hosted and how they were accessed. Now they are closer to the main site, more integrated both visually and accessibility wise.

To get things going again, we have the Back in Time: May 1990 special now available:

Copied from Out-of-Print Archive (http://www.outofprintarchive.com/forum/ ... 57#msg5157)

Out-of-Print Archive is proud to present another exclusive official release, Raze issue 1 from October 1990, with full permission from the publisher, Newsfield Publications.

Not only do we have permission to work on all Newsfield Publication's back catalogue of magazines (Zzap!64, Crash, Amtix!, The Games Machine, Raze, etc.), but we also have an interview with Roger Kean, the Publisher/Managing Director at Newsfield.

The Raze magazine was scanned by none other than Mort and edited by the OoPA team and is our first official Newsfield Publications release:

Raze 1 - october 1990 (UK)

In this first official release of Raze you will find the following online articles:

Devil Crash (PC Engine)
Rick Dangerous II (Amiga)
Future Basketball (Amiga)
Shadow Of The Beast 2 (Amiga)

We'd like to thank Roger Kean again for his generosity of allowing us to work on his back catalogue of magazines and for the time he took out of his schedule to talk to us about his publishing career.  We're sure you will enjoy both the magazine and interview as much as we did.

Last week we had the June installment of the Back in Time feature:

'Back in Time' is a monthly feature where we look back at the classic video gaming magazines twenty years ago this month. This month it's June 1990 when Operation Wolf shot onto the Sega Master System with an excellent conversion of the hit coin-op, Sinclair User reached its 100th issue, magazines went soccer crazy to coincide with the World Cup in Italy and Zzap!64 Amiga published the first edition in an ongoing development diary of a Rowland brothers C64 game called Creatures...

This week we have Enter issue #3:

After a bit of a hiatus we return to the the oldest series of magazines we have the privilege to present on OoPA, namely the classic Enter magazine.
Picking up where we left off, we are proud to present you with issue 3, courtesy yet again of Bablefish.
This one comes yet again with a couple of very diverse features, which can be found here.
Starting of with the 1983 holiday buyer's guide, followed by the Paid to Play feature and finishing up with a strategy feature on Mr. Do! for the arcade.

Man, I had Enter magazine from the beginning to the end. It was good stuff when I was a kid. Wish I hadn't dumped them.

Time to jump forward a bit this week. Straight into 1990 with the 3rd issue of Mean Machines Magazine.
Our selected reviews are once again focusing on the NES for the most part with the following games:
Batman, Solar Jetman and Tecmo World Wrestling.
But that doesn't mean the Mega Drive gets ignored,
as we also focus on the rather excellent shooter Hellfire on the 16-bit system.
