New amp / speakers setup

Post by chupon »

Just got a beautiful pair of B&W 602 speakers and a very nice Rotel integrated amp / receiver. Hooked those babies up to my LG OLED 4K C1 tv and I’m in business.

Now… what games should I be testing this setup with? I’m looking for deep bass and stereophonic surround sound.

I’m thinking Skyrim? oxbox Halo2? N64 Goldeneye?

Hit me with some games I should be playing and trying out on this setup. I’ve got every system except the newest Xbox.

Goldeneye also came to my mind.

Hmm, I'd have to think about it to get some better suggestions, but right off the top of my head...

I would try the Genesis, but I'm a sucker for that bass. Games like Sonic 2 or 3&K, Streets of Rage 2, et cetera.

Also try Castlevania IV. That soundtrack has some pretty awesome bass lines.

Something newer would be the Dead Space games and the BF Bad Company games.

Right I forgot about Rez. Seek out Qubed for the X360. It’s got Rez HD, Lumines, and E4. Also Child of Eden made by the same devs, I believe.

N++ has awesome music. I sometimes keep it running at the main menu and have some missing bumping on the background.

Appreciate the tip about Qubed on the 360, Gucci. I wasn't aware of that release. Might have to pick it up if I come across it.
