is basically a translated version of the GBA version wrapped around an emulator.

Can one possibly extract the GBA version from a copy of the game?

I recently tried and found a file simply called "megaten1", with no extension. I then added a .GBA extension and then a .BIN extension and tried to run it in an emulator and nothing. I'm not sure if it's a ROM itself or if it's some kind of compressed file (it's not a zip or rar).

If I were to purchase this game, and had a jailbroken apple device, how would I go about getting the downloaded installation or installed data/file off my PC, or the iOS device for archival purposes?
It would be fun to have a peek at the contents of the data I bought...

Just rename the IPA to ZIP, then search for a file named "megaten1" (it'll have no extension).

To get the IPA, buy it from the iTunes Store on your computer, go to the folder that it downloads IPA files, find the right IPA, and go from there.
