Right? And they were so mad this happened 10 years ago that they created an account just to bump it.

Amazing. :o

With that sort of passion, I hope they’ll stick around and post about video games!

He hasn't logged back on since. Not a good sign.

I’m surprised by the ingame emulation setup. That basically exists today on retropie. Or does it have a different name to it. He could’ve used a mac mini but it may have been expensive compared today.

The system used would've been rather expensive back then, but I'm still using some of the same emulators with only slight tweaks on an old system to get near 0 lag on 60FPS 15Khz emulation for the core of my emulation rig for old I3+ cores. Combined with an RGB modded CRT this makes for a great experience. This setup is actually perfectly valid even today and a great shell to boot.

Here's OPs YT channel. He does live streams and RPG centric stuff. Good dude. We traded some games... dang... about ~8 years ago

I remember also seeing him around a RPG forum back then.

Yeah, I worked at an Apple certified repair shop when the Mac minis launched. They were expensive. My buddy bought one as his media box and LAN server & we were impressed.

Luckily in 2022 we have replacement console shells for Saturn (among other consoles).
