Slowly building my Switch collection, though there’s a game or two I might have to shell out a lot of money to get.

Pretty sure this is gonna end up being my third favorite Nintendo console after SNES and NES.

Do you think Switch Pro will go on sale next year (2022) or for Christmas 2021 ?

I’m not certain there will be a Switch Pro.

There never was going to be a Switch Pro. The DSi and the New 3DS demonstrated that incremental increments don't really work for Nintendo.

I think they will tease the next console next year, with a late 2023/early 2024 release date.

I just wish they would keep developing Mario Kart 8. Give me a multiplayer track pack, and Smash like customization for the rules. I thought I would be firmly stuck with MK64 as the best battle mode, until 8 deluxe came out - 12 player Cops and Robbers on Battle Course 1 with a good group of people is wonderful.

Nintendo really just needs to buy Sabre Interactive and have them handle all ports to their hardware going forward. Witcher 3 was impressive, but now Kingdom Come: Deliverance that is unthinkable.

I think the next console Nintendo releases will still be a Switch, but it will be more like a Switch 2, and I don’t think we will see it until Switch console and game sales start to decrease in the face of Sony’s and Microsoft’s current gen consoles. And that’s unlikely to happen until supply constraints aren’t keeping people from getting their hands on those current gem consoles.
