Do you pick up anything for participating in the Splatfests (XP, $, items)? I just missed the first one, was on the day before but not the day it actually happened.

Depending on how well your team did (or didn't do, as is the case with the winning side this time) you receive some experience and a lot of shells that allow you to add ability slots to items or re-roll the slots on an item where they've already been unlocked.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

I really like the new tower map

my personal favorite weapon is a roller, not real good with quick shooting things but I'd like to think I'm pretty good at strategy

Rollers are intensely fearsome in the right hands. I've seen some talented (mostly Japanese) players dominate with Dynamo Roller fling jump shots.

OK, Tentatek Splattershot is my new main. It's just so versatile.

Hope I'm not too tired from work tonight. I get home just after Splatfest starts and I want to sink my teeth in as much as possible again.

Still rocking the Aerospray RG. I don't know that I'm a fan of the ink mine.
I'm still not sure whether I'm a kid or a squid now.

I'm going to try to snag it this weekend. Fred Meyer has everything for 10% off, and the game is already $10 below MSRP there. Getting it for $45 would be pretty sweet.
