super scope

Post by ubelaffe »

I've never used a super scope for the snes, but I was thinking about getting one. I always thought that they looked cool.

Are they worth getting?

Does it need the sight piece? Half the auctions on ebay are missing the sight assembly and I'm wondering if that affects gameplay. Certainly it would affect the value/price, but I'm not sure if I even need it.

Thanks!

The sight piece is pretty important since the gun's crafted after a bazooka. :P I'd imagine it'd be difficult to play without it.
I'd get the Super Scope under two conditions:
1. You have both Bazooka Blitzkrieg and Yoshi's Safari
2. You have a helluva lot of batteries for it (or have some rechargeable ones.).

There's only a handful of games that work with it, including the bundled cart that includes 6 mini games. It's pretty neat for the novelty factor but you won't get a whole lot of play time out of it.

I always saw Yoshi's Safari at the video store to rent but I didn't have a super scope. I wanted to play it soo bad!

okay, I kind of figured on most of that. I found a reciever for one and thought that I'd pick one up on the cheap without the reciever. It doesn't really sound worth it - at least not to pay for shipping one and all...maybe if one materializes at the flea market.

Thanks for all the help!
