-New 4 player 2D Mario for Wii - remote held nes style. Described as Mario 4 Swords...instant buy for me. Release this Christmas.
-Lots of Wiifit stuff, itll be on the all the news sites soon. Not really my bag so I didnt really pay attention
-Wii Sports Resorts starts with skydiving and moves into archery, basketball, kayaking, etc. Looks pretty.
-Motion plus looks to be far more interesting for homebrewers than Wii Sports Resorts – for the basketball game it read the rotation of the wrist and transferred it into the game. Though the new Tigerwoods and Tennis games support it, Red Steel 2 requires it. It and Resort come out July 26th.
-New Square open world exclusive – FFCC Crystal Bearers (which still looks like FF Monster Hunter).
-Kingdom Hearts 358/2 Days for the DS September 29th
-Mario & Luigi III US release – Fall 09
-Golden Sun DS – 2010
-Womens Murder Club – DS October – Interactive Mystery
-COP the Recruit – GTA looking action title for DS
-Mario Vs Donkey Kong Minis March Again = AWESOME, the first was a fantastic puzzle game. This one features user made stages from the ground up, trade them local or wifi, and is DSI download as of next Monday…damn it.
-WarioWare DYI – Create your own seizure inducing games on the go – Dsiware this year
-DSi Facebook functionality this June – namely picture uploads.
-Zelda Spirit Tracks – playable at the show – no date
-Nintendo wants to cater to all gamers – not just the “hardcore.” Figures thrown around about how many people are gamers of all types. But that they cant raise or lower the bar, between experienced and new players. They tried this once with Mario Kart, and are now trying it with a sneak peek at a new way to play games. Some sort of vitality sensor - A heart rate monitor.
Uhhh Nintendo you were going great, but what the hell?
And apparently there is a new Mario Galaxy (with Yoshi) is coming aswell - but still heart rate monitor?
And my live feeds are down so on to the coveritlive info for the last bit.
-Nintendo showcases three more “hardcore” titles: Conduit, Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles, and Dead Space Extraction.
-New Metroid codeveloped with Team Ninja. 2010 release date. Apparently it is gorgeous.
Sadly No mention Fragile, Monster Hunter, Sin & Punishment, but new Marios and Metroid!

Re: Nintendo's E3
I honestly thought they were going to eat it hard, but they pulled some surprises out last minute. Team Ninja working on Metroid is amazing.
SMG2 looks cool too, but I told myself I'd stay away from sequels as much as possible this generation.

Re: Nintendo's E3
Well if they build its function into a horror game or action FPS I can see it being a neat addon - ie a higher pulse rate blurs the corners of the screen and makes the character move faster (ala an adrenaline rush). Do I see this happening, not really. Even if they do that I still think it is silly.
Ohwell, time to see if I can get feeds for Sonys talk.
Hey, Mario 4 Swords is a system seller for my crowd...but I agree it was fairly lackluster till the last twenty minutes.

I was thinking the SAME exact thing. What I got out of it is that they are creating this add-on and how developers utilize is up them. If that technology was implemented into games it could make for a really, really personal experience. Someone should've edited the script.

thats something that is hard to avoid.
In the last couple years it has been really dissapointing to be a nintendo fan. I really thought with this inovative console and it selling like crazy (unlike the n64 or cube) they would really step up their game.
The only thing i'm excited about from Nintendo is that new metroid.
Pretty excited about Resident Evil: Darkside Chronicles and Dead Space Extraction... but that isn't really 'nintendo'. Just on their console. And those were games that were previewed long before E3.

Mario Galaxy 2:

At 2:11 on Galaxy 2, that looks suspiciously like level 1:3 on Mario 1

Re: Nintendo's E3
When they announced a new golden sun, It sounded like they were about to release a "new" earthbound game... at least my hopes and dreams were crushed by another game I love...
Re: Nintendo's E3
I'll be honest, I've been unimpressed with Nintendo for a while (ever since they stopped producing 1st and 2nd party games at a reasonable rate).
However, This E3 has shown me a lot of things that I wanted to see. A direct sequel to Super Mario Galaxy: it's about time Mario got a sequel. And this is one of the more deserving games for it. Mario Bros. Wii looks alright, you'll probably want to play it with other people any time you fire it up though. Metroid: The other M is by far the most exciting thing I saw for Nintendo this year.
All of the Wii fit stuff I could seriously care less. I think that I'll buy a Video Game console to play Video Games on, thanks.
