Essential Japanese Gamecube Imports

Post by andymol21 »

I've really gotten into collecting Gamecube Games recently, and so I am looking to expand my collection into the realms of the unknown... i.e Japanese games! Does anyone have any experience with Japanese Gamecube games? I know there is a puzzle collection with Dr Mario, Panel de Pon and something else on it that looks really good and was never released in the US or UK. Any other recommendations?

The Puzzle collection Dr. Mario is good.. I still need to get that one picked up!! I just got Doshin the Giant on GCN pretty fun game..

I would highly recommend Battle Stadium D.O.N., Naruto 4, Giftpia..

I second Battle Stadium D.O.N.

It's a lot of fun to play with friends, but unlocking everything is torture...

Pardon me for asking, but what is Battle Stadium D.O.N., and why is it so hard to unlock everything?

It's a fighting game featuring Dragon Ball, One Piece, and Naruto characters (hence D.O.N.). It's also available for the PS2.

Unlocking everything is a pain because you have to complete some missions to get coins and use the coins in a slot machine and match the pictures.
