My notification sounds is "BoomShackALacka" from NBA Jam

That Batman is opening is too great.
Jazzy and gets going right away.
Reminds me of Cowboy Bebop opening (which would be a good ringtone too, but mellows out too fast at the start before picking up again).
...just another lost soul...

This is my ringtone when my wife calls:

When anyone else calls it’s this one:

I made sure to trim them so they loop perfectly so each sound file is a single loop.

Wow, this is really relevant since I just upgraded.

@nightrnr - That's my favorite GB song. It's titled "Enker", btw. Some great remixes available on Youtube.

Since early 2017, I've been using the song Wild Fields by Yoko O - The overworld theme from the NES game Crystalis. I did a bunch of filtering and parametric equalizing to suit the speaker in my old phone. I think I even favored a different (less accurate) NSF rendering engine because it sounded better through the cellphone speaker.

Back in December of 2018, I commissioned RushJet1 to do a cover of it as I really admire his ability to take a NES song and redo it using NES hardware so much better, but still clearly Nintendo music. You probably also heard his music elsewhere. He even made Atari music sound okay by avoiding hardware limited offtune notes.

He just finished it! I did tell him there was no time limit and I'd forgotten I even paid him to remix it by this point.

My new ringtone:

My notification is the Sonic the Hedgehog Ring.

My countdown timer alarm is extracted from the anime Gugure Kokkuri-san.
In it, the main character Kohina uses a Haniwa (terra-cotta rock spirit sculpture) shaped egg-timer to let her know when her instant ramen is ready.

I don't think this thing actually exists, at least I couldn't find anything. I really want one to the point that I've been thinking of strugling with ZBrush enough to model it and have it 3D printed, then sticking some arduino guts inside.

Nice!

My bro changed his text message notification sound to the Super Mario 1 death jingle about a year ago. He constantly gets called to fix people's problems, so every time it goes off he dies a little inside because they jumped into a pit again

That reminds me... I use to set my voicemail notification sound to one of the death jingles from DKC2, because I find them to be so annoying (especially since the only ones I get these days are just scams). But my current phone (or perhaps not the phone but the current OS) doesn't allow VM to have their own distinct jingle anymore, it's just lumped in with notifications now.

"At the Opera Tonight" from REPO! The Genetic Opera. It used to be "Battle Axe" by Sharon Needles, but she's gotten into various controversies that make it hard to separate the art from the artist.
