Fashion Thread

Figured it was time to make our own thread considering how much we've taken over the random thoughts thread. Post stuff from your closet, your pick ups, whatever!

Could bodymod apply here? It is fashion in a sense.

I did find out that my city does scarification. That's not for me, but the guy does piercings too which I wanted for a while. For someone who makes scars and cuts off body parts for a living, an ear piercing is probably a cakewalk for him so I'd trust him the most lol

I’m not particularly into that stuff but I don’t object to that here. Fashion has always been a way of expression.

The olympics are happening this year. Last year I picked up a few olympics shoes. But this year I was able to find a really dope hoodie from Nike that was for the olympics: https://imgur.com/a/wm4g9Sy

It uses the first version of the Tech Pack Hoodie from 2020 (there were two that were released last year). I’m on the hunt for the Paralympics version of this that is the same but the front patch is different.

This fall I’ll be doing an “on the fly” YouTube channel going over a bunch of the pieces that I have in my collection.

Also I think you’ll both appreciate this since you’re into tees: https://imgur.com/a/QrsypGB
An Alpha Industries NASA tee with jersey looping on the inside and an MA-1 bomber style side sleeve pocket. I love those pockets.
I own too many hoodies jackets and DS games and I’m not ashamed!

Good idea for a thread, Samurai! I agree that it's nice to have a separate thread for this, as opposed to accidentally taking over the Random Thoughts thread.

Gucci, nice pick-ups! You might have seen it already, but Nike also did an all 3M version of that hooded jacket for the 2012 Olympics. I thought it was pretty fire, but I didn't pull the trigger at the time. It's become a a sought after/pricey item now. But here are some pics in case you hadn't come across it:

I have a few tees that are supposed to arrive tomorrow, so I'll take some pics to share when I get them!

I have not seen that before but holy crap! That’s an awesome piece!

I’ll fish out some more tees later but please share what you have tomorrow!

I'll take a few selfies of some outfits when they come in and when I get my haircut.

I'm an idiot, and surprisingly a tattoo artist didn't realize this either. Won't the mask get in the way of the neck tattoo? Might have to delay it until at least the mask mandate is over (I'll probably wait 1-2 months more). Someone suggested instead of going all out Jack from Mass Effect for the neck I could do a sort of hybrid with something like this: https://i.imgur.com/wgxsXIH.jpg Both look absolutely gorgeous and I'm sure a hybrid could work.

I'll fill up some space on my left arm instead for now. I'll go with the forearm first. It has A WWII era tattoo and a seven samurai tattoo around, so I should probably stick with a similar theme. I'm thinking of having a sort of traditional pinup of a woman warrior posing with a weapon on a straight-ish line down the forearm, and the space below has a bit horizontally space so I'll probably have some skulls or skeletal bodies.

The main character from SMT: Nocturne might be an idea as well. Just stop at the neck. Or not. This is a judgement-free zone.

I’ve got a few more shirts to show off. Comme des Garçon has a long partnership with Nike so I picked up three collab tees. Undercover has a long partnership too but the one shown here is Undercover all the way. Royal cat!

CDG Black is probably my second favorite Japanese label, next to Sacai. They rarely go on sale but I got lucky with those two tees.

I also have a 3-layer jacket and a hoodie from CDG Black x Nike I’ll fish out this fall.

Yea won't do face lol. Looks like every artist is booked for most, if not the rest of the year anyways, and they are not taking anymore appointments for a few months, so I'll just wait until the mask mandate ends.

Nice grabs, PH. That tee with the MS-DOS icon definitely hits with the nostalgia.

Is the Scumm tee a reference to the LucasArts games or something else?
