Every year they ask me if I want the flu shot, and every year I politely say no. Other than the rare cold (which are usually mild), I've been fine. Maybe living in Florida just toughens up your immune system  We have an absurd amount of allergens down here...and hurricanes...and alligators

I'm talking about alligators that can literally show up in a neighborhood or in a lake behind your place of employment

Florida's not for the weak. The humidity alone drives people crazy, but I'm tough like Saitama

Raging Justice, please tell me you're not this rumored "Florida Man" I've read so much about in the news. This fellow seems to get up to all sorts of shenanigans.

I wonder how the humidity in Florida is compared to Canada because it's ridiculous here too. Maybe that's way so many Canadians retire to Florida.

Michiganders and Ontarians love FL. If you drive US 75 N/S and watch license plates, the second and third most numerous after the current state you're driving through are inevitably Michigan and Ontario, in no particular order, and this is along the entire run of 75.

It's much better if you're on the coast, though, because you get the breeze. Orlando swelters, but a 45 minute drive and you're in Cocoa Beach.

Also, when I lived in Florida it would start raining out of nowhere. Imagine being at Disney World and it starts storming its ass off.

And New Yorkers. You're 100% right about Michigan and Ontario being up there, but them and the people of New York easily round out the top 3.

Well, they don’t take I75, so I wouldn’t know about them.

Some drive, but tons fly. For a while, flight to FL were super cheap from NYC. Not sure if that's the case anymore.
