Just keep in mind about gofundme's: People who use it for literal life or death situations won't achieve success through there without proper exposure, and your concept for using it is a lot less urgent than theirs.
Edit: Believe me, I get financial impulses. You gotta find out how to resist. My strategy is to not buy anything until my bills are paid, and then focus on only one topic for purchases. I make several hundred below minimum wage and am ok for the most part with this.
But then again I shouldn't talk cause I just spent like 40% of my income on a tattoo last week lol but a) I saved up for it for a few months, and b) they are technically a lifetime investment

Don't listen to the haters, Repo. Get yourself a nice short term loan and you buy all the switches your little arms can carry!

I’m going to have to disagree with you on that one. A short term note, especially an unsecured one, will have a very high interest rate. And given the poor money management Repo has (not paying rent on time), it would be a financial death sentence.
Getting a secured note would be better as the rates are much less and the repayment terms are opened ended but he has no money to put up front.
Edit: I don’t know if you were kidding btw. If so then disregard.
I own too many hoodies jackets hoodies and DS games and I’m not ashamed!

Our SamuraiMegas is legit all grown up now.
But seriously, Repo, holy shit dude. We joke but it's a cover for how horrified we are at the financial decisions you already make and this new, bold precipice of consumer debt you're contemplating. Do these kids want a Nintendo Switch? Absolutely, who doesn't? But their family cannot afford it. You cannot afford it. The things we cannot afford can be a driving force to make decisions and pursue paths to help us eventually afford them.
Make the smart choice on this one - focus on your own financial and professional health.
Maybe now Nintendo will acknowledge Metroid has a fanbase?

Not kidding. He doesn't even really need a loan as such, just a company that'll do monthly repayments. By the time those are paid off, New York will be mostly underwater anyway and the economy will be so gone no one will be asking for a couple of hundred dollars back. Win-win.

I believe this is referred to as "taking the piss" in your country.

I love you, Sload Soap.
Repo, you might be able to find a payday loan, if you're very desperate to get these Switches. Thankfully in North Carolina, the interest rates are capped at a complete reasonable rate of 36%. Texas for example, sits on around 664% APR. When you look at it this way, you're getting a great deal!

Oh god don't give him ideas, he'll think everyone's being serious and look at loans...
