A coworker recently got that surgery, but he worked the next day (!!! WAT) and low and behold, it tore again. Definitely needed more time to heal.

Good luck!

During your recovery you should watch the episode of "Dr. Quinn Medicine Woman" where she treats a guy with a hernia.

Also, yeah, don't go back to work the next day.

Dam that's what i don't want. I'm a field tech so i set up seismographs to monitor basting around rock quarrys/construction sites. The enclosures are a bit heavy and not the best terrain 8 need to get to so i'll be giving it at least a few weeks after surgery. Luckily my boss is cool and not making me burn my vacation or do short term disability and just reporting office work to cooperate.

By the way, "swinging a bat during a softball game" is a euphemism, right?

 Looks like my little brother's going to be "out of town" for a while longer. He'll have another chance in four weeks, though.

 My brother's ex-wife Betty (not her real name) got Covid so it looks like Friday's movie night is a no-go since obviously her two oldest kids won't be able to attend. And with Rosalina possibly being unable to since her dad has custody and picks her up after school on Friday. Same with the twins.
