Eiyuden Chronicle - Suikoden Spiritual Successor

Some Suikoden veterans have formed a new studio and are launching a Kickstarter to fund a new game in the spirit of Suikoden and PS1 JRPGs. The Kickstarter launches on July 27, 2020.

I normally shy away from Kickstarter video games since so many don't live up to the hype. This one is very tempting though. I need some new Suikoden in my life. I'm digging the Octopath Traveler vibe with Suikoden-like characters and themes.

Don't have high expectations for kickstarters projects but there's always the chance something great comes out.

Well they have certainly crushed their fundraising goal. I think a read somewhere that it is currently the 6th most backed video game on Kickstarter. Not bad for a jrpg! In any case, if you plan on backing, the campaign ends this coming Saturday.
