New article is up for me. I interview Victor Ireland of Working Designs fame. He is now head of Gaijinworks and just released Class of Heroes 2G.

Interview with Victor Ireland

During your talk with him did you get any idea since Game Arts owns Lunar and other companies own the games WD translated - who owns the rights to re-releases (Virtual Console, etc)?

We didnt discuss this in particular, however, he has stated before he is trying to get all of their PS1 releases on PSN. However, with Lunar, I know Xseed had the PSP release a few years ago, so not sure if that changes things.

J, That's amazing that you got to interview Victor Ireland dude! It seems as if he is as candid as ever, is in tune with hardcore gamers as ever, and is still deeply in love with bringing those hard to find japanese experiences. So cool! This makes me even more excited to receive the copy of Class of Heroes 2 from MrHealthy soon from the charity auction!

Wow, I used to visit that site back in the late 90's-2000(I think it was?) and had no idea they were still operating to this day.

Thanks for sharing and I'll definitely check those articles out!

So I have something pretty cool in the works.

Some time in the next few weeks I will be taking a short trip to Austin to visit Portalarium who are developing Shrouds of the Avatar. This is the studio of Richard Garriott and Starr Long of Ultima and UO. I will be interviewing them, touring the studio, and observing a round table with the high tier backers.

I also may visit a few other studios during my trip, but thats not for sure yet. Really looking forward to it.

Been awhile since I updated.

New article I posted today of my interview with Beamdog's Phillip Daigle on the new Baldur's Gate expansion Siege of Dragonspear.
