My favorite hidden gem on the Genesis would have to be Cool Spot. Who would have ever thought that a game with the 7-Up mascot tie in would actually turn out to be good?

I would have to say Rez. I had not played this game until a couple of days ago, because it was never released in the US on the Dreamcast. I do not know if it is really a hidden gem or not, but it blew me away with its originality and game play.
