I cracked out Tetris DX just for you, and third time was the charm.

Maybe look into some licensed stuff? For example the CPS2 Aliens vs. Predator has really nice sprites which would not only appeal to fans of the game but also fans of the films. Got back a couple of hours ago. Had a good time. What a fantastic selection of games! I wish I had had more money to spend.
