Re: playing Misadventures of Tron Bonne on ps3

As AppleQueso said it does indeed involve the home button. Press it and then go to "Controller Settings", "Switch Analog Mode" and change the "Digital Mode" to "Analog Mode". AFAIK every time you start a PS1 game, the controller will always be in digital mode,...

Re: Replace DS Housing

The tutorial that I used was the one on supermodchips channel on youtube, it's a 3 or 4 part video-tutorial, it shows what to do and gives warning on what to pull or how fragile some parts are. Thanks to that I Changed my white dslite in a black one with white buttons :D

Re: PS3 Freezing problem

It seem like some hdd problem, since as you say that Heavy Rain ran smoothly after the 3rd install and Valkyria chronicles froze only after the installation. Backup everything (on ps3 xmb go to: Settings > System Settings > Backup Utility > Back Up) and then format your hdd. IIRC in the official pla...

Re: Jap Megadrive Identification needed

I’d go for the 2nd option emwearz said, it may be a japanese console (afaik that Model No it’s from the japanese console) and the mod may have been made so that it could play on the old tv’s with color, because most of the old european tv’s only displayed 60hz in black and white or just gave a black...

Re: What is your Favorite 2d series?

My picks were Guilty Gear, King of Fighters and Street Fighter. I'm huge fan of the Guilty Gear series (how i wish to find an arcade in my area which has GG..), SF and KoF are kind of obvious since I've grown playing those.. and also spent a lot of money on those arcades

Re: How are games sealed in the rest of Europe?

It really looks like a reseal, and I'm almost sure of it because that store trades old games for cash ans sells them resealed, I've seen a bunch of those used games while looking around the store for a good deal. The new games here in Portugal are shrink wrapped just like in the UK, and I've never s...

Re: Where to find Modchips for older consoles

How about the Gameshark ModClip, it works like a modchip plus it gives you the ability to use codes, you just need to see if your ps1 has the parallel port to get this working. I've used this for years and it worked great, without the need to solder or open up the console.

Re: Any good way to upgrade relatively old PSP custom firmware?

If the PSP you have isn't a PSP 3000 or a PSP 2000 TA-088v3, you could use Hellcat's CFW Recovery Flasher
It will get your 3.90 m33 to 5.00 m33-6 without having to buy anything.
here's the link, the latest release IIRC is 1.60
