Re: I Love My Neo-Geo Pocket Color!

Flavor is making a device called the NeoLinkMasta which lets you backup and restore game saves on the cart and when used with the NeoFlashMasta you can flash an entire game on the cart. I'd love to have one just to play CFC2 in ENGLISH on actual hardware. He has sold a few beta units and will be sel...

Re: I Love My Neo-Geo Pocket Color!

What do you guys use to clean your NGPC games? I've gone the standard rubbing alcohol / q-tip route - although it is challenging given the cartridge size. Didn't have a tool to take the cart apart (admittedly, i tried my Nintendo 3.8 one and anything regular in ones garage) either. My Match of the ...

Re: Genesis S-Video Interest

I would like to know how we mod the 32x for s-video. Since I use the whole Sega setup I need my 32x to output the s-video, or component. As far as I know the KA2195D encoder in the 32x doesn't output S-video. The mods I've seen for S-video on the 32x just look like brighter composite video. You mig...

Re: What's Your Favorite Arcade Cabinet?

My favorite will always be the dedicated Street Fighter cab with punch pads. I loved that game with the punch pads. The 6 button version kinda screwed everything up. I always wanted to throw in a SF2 PCB and try to rig it to work with the punch pads.

Re: Genesis S-Video Interest

Yes, $15 for the parts. I think $40 is a reasonable price for one of the easiest mods. It only takes about an hour if you know what you're doing. $100 is way overpriced unless it's a region mod or overclock as well. Even if you include a region mod and overclock I think $100 is a little high. Overc...

Re: Genesis S-Video Interest

I never understood why people want S-video on their Genesis' when you can get Component 480i with some converters and cords: (BTW you can buy the cords/converter here ) The reason is that it costs a great deal more for that conversion. The s-video mod is only $15 max. People who play on standard cr...

Re: ~Double Dragon Arcade Cabinet...Sound but no music?

Follow the wires from the PSU to see if it goes to the board for -5v. If it does and you are getting -5v then it could be a bad cap in the sound section which is why you are only getting one channel.
