Re: Sega Service manuals on ebay
Yes, received enough cash. With the Saturn manual, the people got partial refunds. I got the following manuals 32X SCD2 MD2/Gen 2 MD2/Gen2 Sup Sega Saturn MCD Whatever the hell the IC one was. SMSpower scored well with the 8bit stuff minus one (but could possibly obtain?) The Mega Drive and Accessor...

Re: Sega Service manuals on ebay
I'll be glad to chip in $20 towards the procurement on these docs. How much do you think they'll go for? Link to Sega-16 thread http://www.sega-16.com/forum/showthread.php?22905-Sega-repair-manuals-on-eBay They could possibly go for quite a lot, but believe me they will be shared IF we (as the team...

Sega Service manuals on ebay
Hello all There are currently some Sega Service manuals on ebay. There are a couple of forums (SMSPower, Sega-16 and Spritesmind) joining forces (lol!) in an attempt to snare these important documents. The intention is to purchase, scan and SHARE WITH ALL these documents. I have started a fund raise...

Re: Nomad --- New screen and better battery pack.
I have put a modern lcd into a GG. http://www.smspower.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=12954 I used a Viletim video out board and tried to be tricky with the screen (mention it in the post). Would I do it again? Probably not, only worth doing if you are going to play Master System games.

Re: Sister dropped her DS Lite
Am I spinning out or is L2 missing?
Another thing it could be is one of the screens is dead. My niece dropped my sisters DSlite, it would flash the power light when turned on. Swapping out the top screen and it is back to normal.

Re: DS lite Reshelling
Hey matey, have done quite a few of these now (done 5 + 1 refurb on the weekend). Advice hmmm take your time. I have gotten it down to the best of 1 hour being very patient. Are you sticking with the same colour or different? If you are going different and going to keep the original touch screen use...

Re: I'm worried about my poor, poor Saturn...
Like all things mechanical (as in moving parts) they need servicing. Expecially at it's age. What I like to do (and have done with all my consoles + the ones I repair for the shop I work for) is to strip the drive down and get all the dust and old grease off. And re-lube the moving parts with a prod...

Re: Are These Official Genesis Controllers?
I got one of these controllers with an, of all things, Atari 2600. The controller feels like it is made of the same plastic that is used in the cheap DVD cases that you get from the dollar shops (where you get 6 for $2). The controller flexes in your hand, also the cable rotates in the case. I strip...
